Terms of Service

Last updated 14 Oct 2026

The short version

MeetETA helps you share your time zone and find good times to meet. Use it kindly, don’t abuse it or other people, and understand that it’s provided as is. These terms explain the details in plain English.

Who we are

MeetETA (meeteta.com and the MeetETA Chrome extension) is run by Corelead Interactive (“we”, “us”). By using MeetETA you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use MeetETA. Questions: hello@meeteta.com.

What MeetETA does

  • World clocks, time zone conversion and finding overlapping working hours.
  • A personal share link that shows your home time zone, current time and working hours.
  • With Pro: a custom link (meeteta.com/yourname), showing your next free times from Google Calendar, and letting people book time with you.

We may add, change or remove features over time.

Your account

You sign in with Google. You’re responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your Google account secure. Please give us accurate information and tell us at hello@meeteta.com if you think someone else is using your account. You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live (and at least 13).

Acceptable use

Please don’t:

  • send spam, or use MeetETA to harass, threaten or abuse anyone;
  • impersonate a person, brand or organisation, or mislead people about who you are;
  • make bookings you don’t intend to keep, flood someone’s calendar, or use booking to harass a host;
  • scrape, crawl or bulk-collect data from MeetETA, or use bots to create accounts, claim links or book times;
  • try to break, overload, probe or get around MeetETA’s security or limits;
  • use MeetETA for anything illegal.

We may remove content, limit features or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Custom links

  • Custom links are part of Pro. Names use lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, and some words are reserved (for example admin, support or pricing).
  • After your first claim you can change your link two times. Changes within 7 days of claiming are a free fix and don’t count.
  • When you change away from a name, it keeps redirecting to you for 12 months, and only you can claim it back during that time. After that it may become available to others.
  • If your Pro ends, your custom link keeps working for 90 days. After that it is released and your original random link (which always works) becomes your link again.
  • A custom link doesn’t give you ownership of a name. We may reclaim or block a link that is offensive, misleading, impersonates someone, or is the subject of a reasonable trademark complaint.

Pro and invites

  • Pro is currently invite-only and free. There is nothing to pay.
  • Each invite code works once. It belongs to the first Google account that redeems it, and can’t be transferred, sold or traded.
  • Invites last for the period shown when you redeem them, or until a set date. When an invite expires, your account returns to the free plan (see Custom links for what happens to your link).
  • We may end an invite early, for example if it was shared, sold or misused.
  • We may offer paid plans in the future, with payments processed by Stripe. Prices and billing terms will be shown at checkout before you pay.

Google Calendar

Connecting Google Calendar is optional. We use it only as described in our Privacy Policy: reading busy and free times, and, if you turn on booking, adding and removing meetings booked through MeetETA. You can disconnect at any time from your account page, which revokes our access. Your use of Google is also subject to Google’s terms.

Bookings

When someone books time with you on MeetETA, the meeting is between you (the host) and your guest. MeetETA is not a party to the meeting and isn’t responsible for what happens in it, whether it happens, or anything agreed there. Guests can cancel with the link in their confirmation; hosts can decline or delete the event in their calendar. Please be respectful of each other’s time.

Availability and no warranty

We work to keep MeetETA accurate and available, but it’s provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Time zone rules, calendar data and free times can be wrong or out of date; please double-check important times. We may pause or change MeetETA, for example for maintenance.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Corelead Interactive is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or opportunities, arising from your use of MeetETA, including missed or mistimed meetings. Our total liability for any claim relating to MeetETA is limited to the amount you paid us for MeetETA in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if you paid nothing. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Ending your use

You can stop using MeetETA and delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if required by law, or if we stop offering MeetETA. Sections that by their nature should continue (like no warranty and limitation of liability) still apply afterwards.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we’ll let you know on the site or by email. If you keep using MeetETA after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.
